Tips for men: How to have her heart!!!

Show interest, and show her that you would like to get to know her and you were happy to meet her or talk to her.

Always look into her eyes when speaking to her. That subtly will make her see that you are really taking an interest. Just be careful not to get lost in her eyes when she's talking, otherwise the only thing you'll have to respond with is "Wow, you've got pretty eyes." (see the first point).

Be sensitive and caring. Let her cry on your shoulder if she's sad. Make her smile when she's feeling crummy. However remember that she wants a man in her life so don't be supplicating.

Lead. She wants to be the wooed and not do the wooing so be the first to initiate touch (non-sexual and sexual). Be the one that comes in for the kiss. NEVER ask for ideas for what to do on the date, make plans and a back-up. If she knows of something better she will tell you.

Whisper in her ear. Girls love this.

If you have little siblings, nieces, or nephews, show her that you really care for them. Play with them, watch over and protect them, show the girl that they look up to you.

Dress nicely. Use an attractive cologne if necessary. Be very hygienic with her.

Help others in front of her. (although you should always) Help the poor and needy to show that how much you care for others. But, show some more care for her, which she thinks that, this is only for her.

For Valentine's Day (if you celebrate it) be sweet or thoughtful instead of showy and cliched. A dozen red roses may be the traditional romantic gift, but most girls will be better pleased with a few of their favorite flowers tied with a red, pink, or white ribbon. Actually remembering a girl's favorites will endear you to her more than any elaborate scheme. If it's early in the relationship, though, and you don't know her favorites yet, a teddy bear (or other stuffed animal) is a perfectly fine fallback gift. Do something original to you. But make sure you make her feel comfortable as well.

Pick up lines are OK as long as they aren't obnoxious (meaning avoid the vast majority) or overtly sexual to someone you don't know.

Make her laugh. Girls love guys with a great sense of humor. That doesn't mean you should never take anything seriously, or else you'll come off as a clown.

Learn to dance and learn dance etiquette. Take some ballroom classes to build your confidence, so you learn to lead a girl through a song. Girls love guys that can dance.

Take the first step, if you're going to take her in your arms and sweep her off her feet on the first date, you're about as oblivious as a fish. Girls like the fact that they're being wooed so it doesn't help if you're that 'what's his face' at the corner thinking if you should make a move. That dreamy "eye to eye" across the room crap belongs in movies. If you're going to ever win the prize, you've got to tell the prize you want it.

Break the ice. This is one of most seemingly dicey things to do, but once you have done this, holding a conversation and laughing will be easy, and you will begin to share a good rapport. a good laugh is always a smart way to break the ice. for e.g - you would show this webpage to her, and have a laugh over what is written and the whole idea of having such a page as well.

Get close with the girl's family. Knowing that she has her family's approval makes her more comfortable, and knowing that you are a likable person is another plus, find out what her interests are and make an effort to connect with them.

Have quality time with her, and always show appreciation.

Always give care for everything she says.Try to know her a little bit more before you attempt to be jocular(certain jokes for you might not be laughable to her). Knowing her culture a little might also help, her background, and most importantly things she likes.

The ban of Okada in Lagos

so many factors attributed to the ban of Okada in Lagos, if you will agree with me. Am a fan of Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola...I support the ban on Okada but I would like the Governor to look into creating alternative for the Okada riders...revolution happens like this, we all should be prepared!

Osun State is now competing with Lagos

Why we see our O-BEEF scheme as solution to unemployment and dwindling revenue - Aregbesola

The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Monday reiterated the commitment of his administration towards more development initiatives that will not only create jobs for the mass of unemployed youths but also open up fresh sources of revenues.

Aregbesola while explaining the major ratio
nale behind the establishment of the O-BEEF project in his state, said growing unemployment and the fast dwindling national resources represented potent threats to peace.

He said these were some of the reasons for the introduction of the Osun Cattle Hub tagged O-BEEF.

A statement by the Director, Bureau of Communications and Strategy, Office of the Governor, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, quoted Governor Aregbesola as encouraging the Nigerian youth to consider many of the fresh initiatives in agriculture as a major solution to the problem of unemployment.

The Governor was quoted as saying, “Tagged O'Beef, an acronym of Osun Beef Production, the establishment of the beef industry is for the purpose of agricultural development, self-reliance in food production as well as creation of economic bases and plethora of job opportunities for the people of the state.

Williams sisters in Nigeria for women’s rights

American tennis super-stars, Serena and Venus Williams have said that their visit to Lagos, as part of a two-nation tour that will see them play exhibition matches and train kids, was to promote women’s rights.

The sisters are both counted among the world and United States’ most successful athletes, sharing 22 major women’s singles championships between them.
Their trip is aimed at promoting “the role that women play in shifting perceptions and encouraging development at all levels across the African continent,” said a statement from the Breaking The Mould initiative they are representing.
Serena, 31, and Venus, 32, are to meet the Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state, hold a tennis clinic at the Ikoyi Club, visit a puberty education class for girls and play an exhibition match before heading to South Africa on November 2.
“They are coming to Lagos to encourage more women to break moulds that have stood between them and their potentials,” the statement said.
Gender disparity is an acute problem in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country of roughly 160 million people, with the most glaring divides existing in the mainly Muslim north.

Worldwide, Nigeria ranks 118 out of 134 countries on the Gender Equality Index, a British Council study released in May said.
Always backs Williams Sisters tour
Always, a brand of Procter & Gamble Nigeria, is supporting the visiting Williams Sisters to empower women and young girls to believe in themselves in a bid to achieve their full potential in life.
On 1 November 2012, the duo will partner with feminine hygiene brand Always for a joint girls empowerment event at the Government Secondary School in Osborne, Ikoyi.
Together, Always and the Williams sisters aim to empower girls and inspire them to live their life to the fullest by: stressing the idea of sisterhood and that girls teaming up and supporting each other may achieve great things; teaching young girls the value of hard work, passion, determination and self-belief and leading by best example that neither colour or gender shall be reason enough to hold girls back and keep them from wanting the best in life and succeed.
The William sisters will attend an Always puberty education class and talk to the girls before performing with the schoolgirls the Always song “Little Big Steps” to empower them through a shared singing and dancing experience.
“Always’ strong brand awareness and established social media footprint will help to globally drive awareness for ‘Breaking The Mould’ and the message of girls’ empowerment”, says Temitope Iluyemi.
P&G Communications Leader. “We are proud to welcome Venus and Serena in Lagos. They are powerful role models for all girls and women who know what it takes to achieve their dreams. I have no doubt that each girl who meets Venus and Serena will come out feeling unstoppable”.

Their visit will also help raise awareness of the Always School Care Programme that has helped empower millions of girls in Nigeria and across the globe by educating them on proper feminine hygiene and puberty over the last 12 years. Last year alone, the programme positively impacted 1.5 million girls across Africa.

Tips: How to Make Your Smartphone Last Longer in Nigeria

BlackBerry devices used to be renowned for their impressively long battery lives. But with all the features and functionalities packed into modern RIM smartphones during the past couple of years, some of that battery longevity has vanished.

Most BlackBerry user in Nigeria complains a lot about their battery span. This may be due to interrupted supply of electricity. No more worries because if you follow the tips that would be stated below, your smartphone will make you smile while keeping in touch with your loved ones or it will increase your profit output (if used for business).

A BlackBerry constantly searching for signal drains the battery quickly. In an office building, residence, or rural area with low signal coverage, you will experience a quicker battery drain. Turn off the “radio” on the homescreen or the data signal if you must reduce battery drain in severe circumstances (Options > Mobile Network > Data Services = OFF).

Check your applications running in the background. Press your Menu key and then choose Switch Applications to see what is running in the background (or, hold down the Menu key about 3 seconds for the App Switcher ribbon to appear). There are commonly four or five applications that will always be running (Messages, Call Logs/Phone, BlackBerry Messenger, Homescreen, and the Browser; there are others such as BeamBerry and Alarms which will also run). Make certain that the browser is NOT on an active webpage (should return the bookmarks page only). Close any other applications that do not need to be running (the camera or a game you were playing or Google Maps). Applications like GoogleMaps and streaming audio apps such as Pandora or the Media Player left running in the background are big battery drainers.

Turn off the Bluetooth connection when you don’t need it (Options > Bluetooth).

Some applications such JiveTalk have a “battery save mode” when idle. Log off applications such as JiveTalk, AIM, Google Talk if you are not using them for long periods of time.

Use your sleeper-magnet enabled holster. The magnet in the holster is there for a reason – it puts the BlackBerry to sleep, saves the battery, and makes you a happy camper.

Turn your backlight down to 80%… for many, that is a barely noticeable difference in the screen brightness (Options > Screen/Keyboard).

Get an extended-life battery if you think you need it (Seidio Online has many choices for various models).

Li-ion batteries have a typical life-span of 300-500 charges, which averages out to approximately two years. A Li-ion battery will normally maintain more of a full capacity charge and then “quit working” suddenly, rather than gradually becoming worse in performance.
